Interesting thread. How does OBDLink with Motoscan ultimate compare to GS-911 please?

I have both.

Obviously they are two seperate companies, and both are developing their product at different rates, ie the functionality of the thing.
The GS 911 covers some parts that the Motoscan doesn't (yet), and vice versa.

You pays yer money and takes yer choice (using social distancing where appropriate!!)

Just as a footnote, BMDiag are based in Northern Ireland and logistics between the UK and NI are subject to huge delays and cancellations of service. DPD have suspended services to Ireland for the time being.

Thank you Molsal.  I have asked them now that you have flagged that up and they say it is normal to GB - so fingers crossed

I just used the UniCarScan UCSI-2000 and the Motoscan app to reset the service indicator.

For those of you looking to buy the UCSI-2000, it works great. I had an an initial issue with my Galaxy Note 9 where it only saw one bluetooth device - there should be two, one "Unicarscan" and one "Unicarscan iOS". The former is for Android devices and the latter is for iOS devices, perhaps stating the obvious. A restart of my phone fixed the problem and it saw both devices and the app then recognized the device.

I also had an issue with the app telling me it was still the Lite version after I'd purchased the Ultimate version, but that problem is covered by the Motoscan FAQ.

BMDiag responded to my email support query within 30 minutes on a Saturday, so their customer service is great

So all in all, Motoscan's Unicarscan UCSI-2000 OBD-II device works well for me.

Good to know they have changed their shippers to ensure timely delivery, and the great customer service, that's worth a lot.
