fuel trip meter
on: January 03, 2021, 10:59:16 AM
when fuel tank is full, trip counter displays 250 kms range. Bike travels aprox 90kms before trip counter begins to count down remaining kms of fuel in tank. Dealer has looked at issue twice without being able to rectify, any one had similar issue or got any suggestions?

They all do that - in UK the max indicated tank range is 155 miles.

There is no solution - surprised your dealer isn't aware?

The positive things is that mine had a few miles left after it indicated 0 miles left and I got to a petrol station without having to push it !

Yep, if i fill mine to the brim it show 155 miles. It stays there for 20 or 30 miles then starts counting down quite accurately after that. Must be the design.

All bikes before the 2020 update start at 155miles - seems like they have fixed it for the 2020 model.

Not quite true if you have been riding hard before filling up it may start from 140 or 135.
9 times out of 10 its 155 though and you can go a fair bit past zero too although going 25 miles past zero had my arse twitching like a rabbits nose.

I have to say my arse was twitching at about 8 miles past zero at which point I came across a garage and gave a big sigh of relief !
