Blimey you are an optimist  :001: September last and May this  :005:, September this year might be a fair bet.

Did North east Spain last year, not sure if you are heading over that direction, but in any case would highly recommend the following:

GI-612/GI-613 Heading towards Roses
GI-682 (brilliant)

Also, stayed over in Lleida, great place and good roads from Barca.

N-211 + N-232 (plus bonus stop over at Aragón), this route is just fabulous, like riding through canyons, passes and lakes. Loved it.

Enjoy

Picos are great really jealous, I am booked to go to Scotland in July now, but I am still contemplating Picos later in the year if all goes well.

My mates little boy happens to be quite handy riding a bike so we have seen our fair share of race circuits, always stayed in Lleida when at Aragon, we’ve done Barca/B’ham in 16 hours including the ferry crossing but that really is another story.

Hahah Was hoping for a trip past there this week but had to can it. Made do with Shropshire and Herefordshire, though accidentally went into Wales at one point.
