After thinking about it my thought is the harness the tag is on is used across multiple bikes in the BMW family. The harness connects the O2 sensors to the control unit.

Yeah, you're probably correct...as I understand it, the "RB Easy" fools the ECU into thinking the IAT and O2 sensors are actually reading something other than actual....which richens various points on the fuel map slightly. What did it do for the fuel economy...??
