Nice looking bike. Where is the picture taken? Reminds me of Vila Nova de Milfontes.

Thank you Andy, it's been cold here in Portugal as well this year, but still with a minimum of 12ÂșC today, so I guess I can't complaint much. Still, I miss the UK, I've worked for Vodafone in Newbury, Berkshire between 2009 and 2018, I have very good memories of my time in the UK.
This picture was taken in "Foz do Arelho", near "Caldas da Rainha" which is more or less a 3 hours drive north of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Also a beautiful place but the water is much colder.

How does the Akra sound?
Thank you!
The Akrapovic sounds really low... but, to be fair, the software of the bike is still limited in RPM (at 7000rpm for the first 300Km and now, with 500Km and until 1000Km, at 9000rpm).
I was told that it gets quite loud past 8000rpm and I think that's probably right as I still get a hint of that... but then it's time to change gear up before the limiter kicks in.
Anyway, I'm guessing with all these Euro-5 restrictions it will never be as loud as my other bikes.
Btw, you can hear my K1300R with the original optional Akrapovic in this short video if you want, that's a glorious sound if you ask me:

Afternoon there,
Reminds me of my K1300S. Pity i could not keep both. Dont think we'll ever get to those sound levels without changing full headers / end can etc.
Although based on the limited mileage i have done so far i am certainly not disappointed with performance of XR in the slightest bit. Now i have had first service, it is like a different bike. QUICKSHIFT now so smooth both up and down. Very happy.

I love my K1300R, I never had a bike so much time, 10 years and counting... other bikes come and go but the K13R always stays although I've only done 22.000Kms in these 10 years because I always have 3 or 4 bikes, so I split the miles between them.
I'm so glad to hear that there was an improvement after the first service, I hope it solves my quick-shift issues.
Anyway, the dealership thinks it's only due to too much free play in the clutch lever... that is triggering (or not triggering, I'm not sure) a sensor. Unfortunately, I cannot go out for a ride to test it, so I just have to be patient I guess.

Okay, no reply to this so I went and bought myself an XR Sport to test.
Tiny bit deeper note, maybe. Not much in it, looks a hell of a lot better though.
