    Hello
I live just up above the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway. Small place called Ørnes just south from Saltstraumen and north of Svartisen along FV17 - The Coastal Road (Kystriksveien)

My first bike was a Kawasaki 100 ccm back in 1982 - got my unrestricted license in 1985 and got the CB750 in 1992.
Has been riding nonstop with various bikes since.
My first brand new, was the V-strom in 2004.
Member of the local club, Ørnes Motorsykkel Klubb and BMW MC-klubben Norway.
    Has silver FIM Meritum membership.

I had a testrun of the new XR last spring. An brand new red one (I consider by the way red bikes as a no no).
I enjoyed the bike, rider position close to my R1200GS, liked it!
Now I'm thinking hard for the 2021 season...

    Bike history so far:

    Kawasaki G7T 1977 (sold)
    Honda CB750K7 1977 (sold)
    Suzuki Intruder 1400 1987 (sold)
    Yamaha FZR1000 1995 (sold)
    Suzuki V-Strom 2004 (sold)
    BMW R1200GS 2007 (sold)
    BMW R1200GS 2014(sold)
    Suzuki GSX 400 1982 (sold)
    BMW R1200GS 2018

    Welcome.

I’ve just looked on google where Ørnes is.    Pretty far north!

Beautiful scenery up there, and great coastal road-  you just need to avoid the police speed traps!
