    Adjustment of gear lever angle.

Hi, is it feasible to lift the gear lever slightly to accommodate my arthritic ankle, to make gear changes more comfortable. I was considering moving the actuator arm clockwise a couple of splines on it's shaft, your thoughts would be most welcome. Many thanks.

I have adjusted the gear lever position on most bikes I have had including my Gen 1. Assuming its the same on the Gen 2 I adjusted the the gear lever arm from the gearbox with the quickshifter. From memory it was a 10mm lock nut either end of the shaft and then turn the shaft until the lever is in the correct position and tighten up the lock nuts. Be aware one of lock nuts will be a left handed thread.

Thank you very much, I'll give it a try, sounds easier than my proposal.

What Mr NSB said....just extend or shorten the shift rod to suit your needs...I did the same to "lift" the lever a few mm to suit myself...easy enough to do, just remove one of the hiem joints on either end and adjust as required.

Bought the adjustable option that appears on eBay from Germany.
