    New Bike new panniers?

    Hi

I'm about to swap my 2018 XR for the new model.  I believe my panniers wont now fit - can someone confirm this?

If this is the case, I'll need to buy some new panniers - anyone know of any sites selling them cheaper than BMW?

    Thanks in advance.

(if this is the case my old ones (+liners), in good condition, will be for sale in due course - will advertise in this forum)

You can get the BMW side panniers only for £750, discount apparently??
However i have been looking at Shad. You can get a full set including 48LTR Top box etc for just under £500. Includes the brackets for the side Panniers and a whole lot better than the Give brackets in my opinion.

Thanks - always rated Shad so I'll have a look.  Saw the new BMW panniers at £815 for the pair which is just insane.  And the liners are about another 70 quid each  :005:

Gen 1 panniers dont fit, and nor does the gen 1 top box. You can negotiate a discount for the BMW ones, but they are still expensive. Benefit of the BMW ones is that they fit the bike attachments. Using non BMW panniers requires some form of fixing rack to be attached to the bike. I am paying up for the BMW ones which will also be worth more if you sell them IMHO.
