    Hi everyone,

    New here so just saying hello.
    Collecting my 2018 S1000XR Sport SE in the M sport colours next week and cannot wait!!
    Never had a beemer before and haven't been able to test ride it (covid :013: ) but fingers crossed it'll all be great  :001:

    Got the same after a history of R1s. Put Beemers off as old mens bikes, not any more they ain't!  Had mine 2 years and love it, no regrets.

    It will be awesome but get ready to google Evotech bar ends for XR once you’ve actually ridden it. I knew from all the reviews and the test ride about the vibe. Worthwhile purchase and 2min install

    protection for the radiators is necessary, even if BMW dont agree. I got the Evotech ones for my 2018 SE, not cheap but a straightforward fix. As for the bar end weights, Ive never needed them. I know lots of press reports worried about vibes on the bars but its never bothered me......as too many of my mates suggest, where theres no sense theres no feeling! Try it, make your own mind up, and if you cant live without them go Evotech too. Quality. Hey, suns shining today so tomorrow I'll prep for 1 April and then you can blame me for the downpour eh.

    Agree, just fitted the same guards on mine. Look damn good too but no I needed the bar ends but I was expecting it even with the 17 update anti vibe .... sure  :164:
