Because of filtering issues, I’ve learnt like others to live with 52ltr givi storage in a single top box and a small 20ltrs rucksack for stuff I can’t let out of my sight.

All about efficiency when packing, too easy to forget the panniers until that “oh f%#&!!!!” moment. And if I see a gap I have to go for it.
Not personally qualified to confuse cats, but I can recommend an extremely good service.

The Givi Trekker 33 litre panniers in that box/adventure style, as above, are the same width as the Gen 1 bars.
Just remember to keep going straight through that narrow gap until the rear wheel has cleared.
