Hi - I want to unclip the gear shift pro switch on the gear change shaft so I can loosen the adjuster nuts and raise the gear selector by 10 mm or so - but cant seem to see how to unclip the switch.  Any ideas?

undo and remove the bolt above and rotate on the splined shaft.
    Cheers,
    Charlie Spiceboy.

Thought that might be another method - I'll give it a go tomorrow.  Cheers Charlie.

You don't need to undo the switch, just crack the lock nut, pop the hiem joint off the top end, rotate the joint maybe half or one a turn in the desired direction and refit...job done, just remember, one end is left hand thread.....one "spline" on the actual shift lever on the box is way too much.

+1 on this, 2 full turns took me from barely being able to get my foot on top without lifting it off the pegs to it touching the top of my boots in regular riding position, so half turns at a time probably raise about 5mm or so. I ended up between the 2 but I still get miss shifts every once in a while due to not pushing the lever up enough, I'll probably drop it another half turn.

Ok cool - can you explain the hiem joint? - is that the plastic connector on the top of gear shift assist switch?  If so how do you get it off ? -  I had a go but then gave up in an effort not to break it on day 3 of ownership!  Or is it what looks in laymans terms as a metal shoulder socket that the main shaft goes onto, covered by a black rubber covering?

Loosen the locknut just below the rubber boot, then pull the boot down and undo the torx that connects it to the gear selector, then just rotate that bit 180° at a time until it's where you need it, just put the bolt back in part way after each turn and have a seat on the bike and see if it's good, i think if you spin it so it goes out, the lever goes up, if it goes in then lever goes down, when you're doing it outwards though just make sure there is a safe amount of thread left in the linkage, took me 10 mins altogether. Locknut is 10mm, torx i believe is T25 but don't quote me on that

Ah, brilliant, thanks !  Will give it a go.  Do you have to loosen the lock nut at the bottom as well to allow it to spin?

No you're not rotating the middle bit of the linkage, just the very top bit where the torx comes out.

    That's how I did my adjustment, 15 Min's top whack .

Anyone managed to raise the brake pedal lever a few mm?
