« on: April 27, 2016, 09:02:13 PM »

I'm getting close to buying an XR but struggling as where to buy from. Ive been in touch with 2 dealers who both to my dismay haven't come back to me ??
I'm in the northwest however I'm not bothered where the dealers is to be honest, has anyone any recommendations or know of near new up for sale.

My local dealer Bahnstormer has 3 used bikes across its 2 dealerships.

http://www.bahnstormer.co.uk/ and look in their used bikes sections for Alton and Maidenhead.

They also may have a lower mileage ex-demo for sale, that is just a question of timing I suppose.

Simon Sayers at Allan Jefferies is a really good bloke and also the sales manager so seems to have a bit more licence to knock some money off.  Quite refreshing approach as he did me what I considered a decent deal with no need to haggle.  Quite a few S1000XR in the showroom with sold stickers the other day.

+1 for Jeffries,  they were great with me and I don't even live on the mainland.. Were willing to do a great deal and bring it up to the boat for me..I just went with local dealer for handiness.

BMW have just dropped the APR to 2.9% for a new XR bike, offer of £14.250, £4000 for mine, 4000 miles a year just under £8000 final payment, still looking..

I just got an S1000xr se sport for a good price with the panniers I did a deal for my Z1000sx in part ex I'm happy with the deal I've got, Wollaston in Northampton seem to have a stock of new ones in.

if your after a pre loved xr have a look at www.pidcockbmw.com/ I know they had two in the other week.

After over thirty years behind the bars, I’ve still not done it all or seen it all.
