I was sat outside at a new Pub the other day I asked the staff what’s the WIFI password please?

Staff member You need to buy a drink first

Me okay I’ll have a coke.

    Staff member is Pepsi okay?

Me sure how much is that?

    Staff member £3

Me There you go, so what is the WIFI please?

Staff member you need to buy a drink first. No spaces all lowercase! :009:

After over thirty + years behind the bars, there's still lots to do and see.

I'm surprised that you expected to access their wifi without making a purchase, or even to use their seating!!

A bit of a 'whoosh' moment there?

It needs a bit of punctuation - perhaps

I was sat outside at a new Pub the other day I asked the staff "what’s the WIFI password please?"

Staff member: "You need to buy a drink first"

Me:  "okay I’ll have a coke."

    Staff member:  "is Pepsi okay?"

Me:  "sure how much is that?"

    Staff member:  "£3"

Me: "There you go, so what is the WIFI please?"

Staff member: "youneedtobuyadrinkfirst . No spaces, all lowercase"

It's amazing how much a little punctuation can transform a bunch of words completely!  :047:

I most humbly apologise for any miscommunication :430:

To be fair I did create on my phone, sorry my education standard does not meet your expectations!

It was meant as a joke, may be I rescind my account for thirty days and take a long hard look at my English books from School which I think are still in the loft from fourth odd years back.

     :431: for the confusion.

Hey!  I got the joke, but in the face of someone not seeing it - just pasted in how I altered it for forwarding in whatsapp.

I think you've taken the hump unnecessarily  :028:

I thought you original post was great, but maybe a little odd. Maybe the joke is on me for not 'getting' it at the 1st time of asking!
