Loose Left hand grip and switches?

Apologise if already on here, could not find so far.
Anyways, noticed the other day that the grip and switch assembly seem to rotate about 3 or 4 mm. Anybody had any similar issues. Presume its just a case of tightening up the screws?
No real vibration and Gen2 bike?
    Any advice welcome as usual.

Mine were a bit loose,  you can tighten them down left is under grip right have to remove cover for starter switch.   I ended up taking off and using a foam like silicone and then tightening  to remove play

Just pull the grip back close to the switch gear, there is a little screw you can tighten. Nothing else needed.

    Perfect, thanks for that.
Eventually found original post. Nice pic showing torx screw and where to find.
    Appreciate response.

This happened to my Gen 2 this morning. The offside is becoming loose as well. Just one of a growing list of problems with a seven month old bike!

Has anyone tried thread-lock or is there any reason why it shouldn’t be used?

I would be a little careful with thread-lock in this application, the bolt screws in to a tiny nut that is held in a plastic recess on the flip-side. It is real easy to 'strip' the recess so that it does not grip the nut any more and then the bolt/nut just spin freely!

    Many thanks SimonUK.

Am considering getting it back to the dealer as I’m about to post other issues to see if I can gauge how many people have been afflicted with similar issues before getting back to BMW.

Mine was a little loose on collecting, quick fix and 8k in it’s not been an issue since. No clue why the factory can’t give it that extra quarter turn??
Not personally qualified to confuse cats, but I can recommend an extremely good service.
