Certainly not! ESA set accordingly from new. Still can't believe it and neither could SBW Motoraad.

If you do happen to hear from the dealer that this is an ongoing problem with the XR do post and let us know!
Wonderful thing the warranty!   :002:
Many people ride.....but for a select group of people it's more than a ride....it's one of life's great passions.

My left hand fork blew this week in the IOM, oil all over pads disc calliper, just clocked 1060 miles. It was after a spirited ride but never experienced this on a new bike. Be on to BM tomorrow, should be collection really rather than riding to the dealers however I did blip home from the Ferry without issue.
Looks like a definite defect to me.  :230:

Oh dear another one. In all fairness SBW Motorrad made no fuss about repairing my tall xr as we have a 2 year warranty but i hope my new low bike doesn't do the same. This won't be a "while u wait " job so it might be better to let BMW assist put it in the van. Just make sure you know where it is going as they are not affiliated to any particular dealer.

Rang up today, booked in for Wednesday, dropped off today, lent a R9T thing, horrible, sounds nice but yuk.
Service girly said this could turn out to be a recall matter as they've make BM aware of the number being repaired ??
We shall see.

having a mini nightmare this week  :087:

Got the bike back in 24hrs, fork seal done, bike cleaned up looks 100%, the ride home..bloody vibe city, couldn't help but notice it but then again am I looking to hard, it just felt different ??
Decided to go out later that night to see how it felt, only picked up a rear f&*in puncture  :230:, did a roadside repair with one of those kits which took all of 10 minutes once the wife arrived with it.
Master plan tomorrow repair tyre and try again, fathers day gift of Evo bar ends have just been fitted tonight...major fingers crossed as ive fell out with my bike presently  :003:
