    Has anyone got a guide for removing the fairings on XR Gen 2 please?

     :001: the ones under the seat? Just undo screw no.5, de rest is clipped. Pull gently away from the rear

    I am especially struggling with the cockpit/dash Din plug on left area.

    ahh ok.. the screw you need to undo is the one behind and under the black spring for the windshield adjustment. However it's not easy to put the panel back. I find it far easier to take the screen off, then the whole adjustment assy (4 bolts) and with that the GPS bracket if you have that. Under that you have a plastic panel which bolts to the cover left and right.  Just protect the TFT screen so the GPS bracket can't scratch it.
