    Seat hight

Evening all, can anyone tell me if there is any other way of identifying a lowered seat hight other than measuring, ie. Markings on seat?
I am a new owner and must have long legs as I find I could do with a bit more seat hight to pegs, but not sure which seat is fitted to my bike. Many thanks, Raf.

Have a look for a part number label under the seat. Put that number into realoem.com and it will identify it.

take a note of the part number under the seat and ask your local dealer to check it. Also are you 100% sure the bike has not been lowered in the past ?

Thanks for the prompt replies, the dealer it came from said it was all standard seat and hight wise. Just wondered if a previous owner had fitted a lower seat, not a huge problem but I would like my knees to be not quite as bent when riding. When stood both my feet are flat on the floor with a bit to spare.

Are you able to post a pic of the bike..?? A lowered one will be obvious.

Do not disagree. Would a decoding of the VIN number online confirm that this was in the build specification?
