    Hi everyone
    Just a line to say hello, coming to an XR from an R. I realised that, by adding risers, comfort seat etc to my r I was just trying to make it into an xr, so off I went and traded.

    Looking forward to hopefully adding to this group and thanks for admitting me.

    Hope you enjoy the XR - it's a different beast to the R1200, in engine, and 'flickability'

    One thing for sure - you will LOVE the quickshifter on the 4-cyl compared to the 2-cyl.

    Give us your thoughts after 1000 miles?

    Didn’t mean I’d come from an r1200 mate, I had an s1000’r’ so I know all about the good points.
