Hello from the sunny South East of Ireland.
After a long 2 1/2 months wait, my xr finally arrived.
Previously had a tiger 1050 from 2012 and still have my 2003 gsxr1000 from new. Always said if my tiger had my gsxr motor it would be the ultimate bike...... I think the xr is it!

Ring of Kerry is spectacular but can be very busy with cars, buses, campervans and so on. Probably more so this year when restrictions lift. Try looking up the nearby Beara peninsula loop, 110km or 140km. Probably more suited to smaller gs models but we used to do it on sportsbikes back in the day, great crack. I even went one weekend on a ducati 748 but I was young, dumb and full of....... stupidity back then.
Hopefully I'll get down there on the xr this year.
As for the southeast, fantastic routes once you get off the main Rosslare to Cork Road. Especially here in County Waterford up over the Comeragh mountains or along coast road from Waterford to Dungarvan (some good eateries here if they ever get to open again) then up over the Vee, via Lismore, through the knockmealdown mountains into County Tipperary.

Cancelled twice now, the first time was a couple of years ago and that was because of the weather, went across to Germany instead...........one of these days  :087:
