    Hello Gents,
I am going to have a small rant now... :005:
on my 2021 S1000XR, I have just installed the aftermarket M-Adjustabe rear sets.
And I am happy to say I find the feel and adjustability very good.  :001:
However, and there always bloody seems to be a however these days...
The gear change rod, where it bolts onto the bike is considerably chunkier than the standard one and sticks out more. And its exactly above the little knob that sticks out on the side side stand, meaning that I cant lower it when you come to a stop.
My heel cant get on top of it to lower the side stand. Becuase my heel hits the chunky gear selector now.

So Im there faffing around like a monkey, 3 minutes after coming to a stop. All my riding buddies having a field day taking the piss, and its very frustrating! As well as slightly funny also.

To add insult to injury, because im only 5ft,7 I cant lower the side stand from the base plate because my leg then hits the foot rest as its coming down and the side stand springs back in.
    So after all that rant.
Does anyone know where or if, I can buy something that attaches to the short nubbin to make it stick a little further so I can get my heel on it to push the side stand down?
I have scoured the web and can only find side stand base plates that increase the surface area of the base of the side stand, but nothing that attaches to the knob that helps you lower it.
Anyones feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I will accept a mild piss taking as Im used to it by now.  :150:
    Thanks in advance boys.

You might try contacting Soupys Performance. They already sell an aftermarket kickstand for the XR designed to be used with their lowering kit. The "nub" on it is not any larger than stock, however they sell side stands for other makes with significantly larger "nubs".  Maybe they could fabricate one for you based on their existing design. https://soupysperformance.com/

I think you'll find "very few" people have the "M" rearsets fitted to a Gen-1, let alone a Gen-2....so good luck with that.
