Need Switched Power source under seat

I am trying connect a Radar Detector/Laser Detector system to a power source under the seat. I need a power wire that would be controlled by the main power button = turn on bike power or start the bike and it would provide power.
Any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks
Lee

This was my solution for my camera recorder. Left side of bike just beneath seat. Hope this is useful.

If tapping into the wiring for the fuse, make sure you get the right one as one circuit is switched with the ignition, the other is always live as it supplies the alarm.
My RS has the same arrangement under the seat. I tapped into the switched fuse using a

and then ran a lead to the front of the bike for an accessory socket.

I have just bought one of these ,from Marks Motorcycle Parts ,which I think may be useful in the medium term.Might not be cost effective though for a small job if its a one off.
