Hello All,
I recently picked up a 2016 S1000XR after 31 years on a BMW R65 which I still have. I have had a couple of other newer bikes along the way to share riding duties with the R65, a BuellS2 Thunderbolt, ZRX1100, CB 919, and '04 Sportster, plus various dirt bikes.
I picked up the bike for two up riding, commuting, weekend trips into the white mountains of New Hampshire, and to have something with more modern technology.
My bike has a history I am not totally clear about, so I will have some questions for the collective when I am done reading through the forums.
