Hi all. Had my gen 1 two weeks. Went out for a ride and the gen warning light came on. On the sat nav it says ALERT:[136660]
Any clues would be appreciated before I go for a rant at the shop?

Just saw your post on Facebook....You've got plenty of fuel .... and it says "FUEL" in the warning area in your first pic so I suspect the fuel sender is not working properly. In the second pic, she's due a service. When was a service last done..?? The service light will come on if the mileage or time, (12 months) is exceeded...whichever comes first. You need Motoscan or a GS-911 to turn the service light off....or be bent over at your dealer.

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!

Hi not sure if you got this sorted. Just a suggestion as I had the same thing happen on my Ducati. Turns out the fuel cap was not quite pressed all the way down. Cap was down and locked but it needed pressing a few more mm. to get it completely closed. I havent checked to see if the same can be done on my xr.
Anyway A tank of gas and 250klm later it reset itself and warning light went out.
    Has not come back again.
