Greetings! Already ended up responding to a thread but here to offer a quick intro....
'18 XR, picked up two weeks ago. Grew up riding in NYC, dodging cabbies and gypsy cabs and drunks at 3am. After a series of Japanese bikes, everything from early Hondas and Kawi KZ's to CBRs and a Magna, switched up in '05 to an R1100S. Hung up my guns a decade ago, and came back to it a few years ago as I turned a good buddy on to it in San Diego. Long story short after nonstop trips to California to goof around on everything from Ducati Supersports to the S1000R, got the itch and got back in the game. For me it's mainly a fun get-around in the city and day trips on the eastern end of Long Island. I appreciate you guys on the other side of the pond hosting this thing. A great resource so far.
