    Looks nice, bike and background - same colors as mine so I'm partial.
    Out of curiosity, without that inner rear fender (below the the tail light), is that outer fender stable?  I've been wanting to remove mine but was concerned about instability.

    The rear fender area is 100% stock, no parts removed, added, or modified.

    Normally there is a big fat mudguard below the fender.

    With regards to this, Yes, however you'll need shorter bolts to replace the ones where the bottom of the mudguard bolts up to the fender as the original ones bottom out well before they get tight. I had some spare M4x25mm fairing/screen bolts and they work just right. Once you tighten the bottom up it's perfectly rigid, the top part you can just reuse the same 2 bolts.
