Just picked up a new Gen 2 M-sport and would like to change the number plate. Any idea how you get the original number plate fixings out to change the plate?

Are they not just normal screws & nuts..?? Or Torx screws..??

Changed mine, its easy, prise off the plastic caps, unscrew the plastic fixing screws leaving the anchors the plastic screws screw into in place. Use the old number plate as a template for drilling the new number plate

And the prize for the most ridiculous question goes to…………..me!
I just looked at it and couldn’t see that the cap would come off!
I thought it was some over engineered BMW thing!
Thanks chaps! Promise not ask silly questions again!
