Just get yourself the Motoscan app, OBDLink MX or LX and do it yourself.

Reviving this thread as i bought the LX amd i have 2022 model. Motoscan is ultimate.

I have an old $9 obd2 and it performs same as the LX.

I can reset the service on both. I bought everything as I thought i can do a coding and the cool stuff but it didn’t work.

    Smithy.

I got notified by the developer that my bike is so new and coding is not yet available.

Look around youtube, coding is like e-sys version of bmw cars. Adding/changing features on the bike

You can change/adjust most things on the bikes now with Motoscan....I don't know about actually "adding" things. Even the GS-911 can't do that.

you are correct, but the developer says, 2022 S1000XR is not all compatible even it will say the LX dongle is fully compatible.

"bike model is too new" and they will work on the future updates.

ill keep my $9 dongle since it can do reset service at the moment.

Gen-2 XR isn't "too new", has been around nearly 3 years now....since the first ones were built in very late 2019. 2022 is the same as the earlier ones, no mechanical/electrical differences at all, just cosmetic/colours type stuff.

You know better than the motoscan developer!

My LX dongle wont connect on most K69 menu.

I even updated the LX dongle firmware on obdlink app.

There is something on my ECU probably got changed…
