    Engine vibration at higher revs

    Hi all

I have a 2016 bike with 18k miles on it. I rode it today and I might be imagining it but it felt extra vibey above 5k revs, certainly compared to when I last rode it. I tried dipping the clutch and it happens with engine speed, not road speed. It had the valves checked by BMW fairly recently and has only done maybe 200 miles since that service. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Just general XR vibes, feels worse on some days better on others, there is a resonance spot around 6.5k and 3.2k. It goes with revs but the source of the vibes is the exhaust being hard mounted to the engine and the engine often being over torqued to the frame. Re-torqueing everything might help a bit.

Good shout. I think I was riding like a pussy and sitting in the rev range where you feel it. I went for a better blast yesterday and it was fine.
