Last summer did 2 twelve hour days no problem. This year 3 hours and I want off the bike. Im about ready to buy a GS and dispose of the XR. Has any body tried the comfort seat  and have profile pictures of the seat, ditto for the Sargent seat

This is for a Gen 1.  I test rode a Gen 2 and found the seat to be as uncomfortable as the Gen 1.  In my opinion, it is difficult to make a good seat for this bike because of the frame/gas tank/tail end geometry.  And the high seat height.

These are: Corbin, BMW HP, Wunderlich high seat, Sargent.  The Corbin, Wunderlich, and HP seat slope forward, sliding my crotch into the tank.  The Sargent has the best shape but it is hard, lacks cushion, and the left and right edge are sharp and "bite" into my legs after hours on the saddle.

The Corbin and the Wunderlich would be good if they didn't slope forward, I am considering picking one and taking it to a seat shop and have them take out the forward slope.

Bottom line is:  Good luck finding a seat for this bike that you like!  I certainly haven't.

The big problem for me is when it is raining, the seat holds water and you end up sitting in a pool of water, and no matter how good your waterproofs, you end up with a wet arse.

Get an Airhawk, problem solved. Use it on my Gen 1 for longer rides. Test rode the Gen 2 without, couldn't ride it for more than an hour. With it could ride it all day.

that's a lot of money in seats. I had no issues with the HP seat on my 2016. I would order the HP or the comfort seat but they are about 2 months out and no reviews, never  mind the $750. Its  either an Airhawk or look for a 2019
