More important is if you can keep the bike straightup when pushing it in or out. Not easy if your head is at the level of the handle bars. Had the thought too in the past, and considered a ramp with a seperate front wheel ride-in clamp on a large piece of wooden solid board. The latter fitted with easy slide stuff on the bottom, and a simple cable system to pull it into the van once the front wheel is secured.
