Open side case after lock removal

I have decided to sell the side cases that came with the bike as they are in tip top condition and i will not use them so best sold before they get damaged ...

I have removed one of the locks and closed the case - but now can't open it ... the grey release tab works but the black one is firm - whats the process for opening the case after the lock is removed - do i need to use a tool where the lock was to realise something inside ..

sorted... it was just a bit stiff to open and i was being a tad careful, i see the black lever gets them off the bike not opening.
