It is from GIVI. There are two parts to purchase: GIVI RM5138KIT specific install kit to mount Rear Wheel Side Mount Fender RM02 or RM01 on BMW S 1000 XR (K69); I used GIVI Rear Wheel Side Mount Fender RM01 (https://giviusa.com/products/rm5138kit-rear-hugger-fit-kit?_pos=1&_sid=6d471d62f&_ss=r ). is that a Sargent seat?  How is it the seating position different from OEM?

Yes, that is New Sargent REVolution OEM Seat UPGRADE (https://www.sargentcycle.com/Seats-Accessories/S1000XR-2020/). Because we do allot of Mountain riding had it done in the Sargent DTX with No Welt and all black. Great seat for the Twisty's. Several folks have copied the mod. They are very comfortable, move you a bit forward and service was amazing. Sent my seat in and within a week I had it back. If you have a short inseam it is defenitinly something to consider.

 The only other seat I can recommend is the OEM comfort seat. Both do not let you slide foward when stoping- even on a steep downhill hairpin. Here are a couple photo's of them so you can compare the two.

Interesting criticisms.

Used to own a BMW K1600 GTLE. These six cylinder bikes are very big & heavy. The S1000XR is much lighter and easier to handle. There is no comparison.

Already have a two cylinder ride: KTM GT. The GS Sport & GSA have the same suspension set up. Had no interest in these box carriers.

Hoped folks we be interested in the modifications so, the XR is more a Sports Touring ride. Obviously wrong...
