Black Out Bolts

Anyone had success in purchasing a set of black out bolts?
Any info would be fantastic!

No, but you can tone them down a bit. As they are stainless steel you can discolour them by heating them to cherry red with a blowtorch and quenching them in oil. The shade can be varied by using different viscosity oil but they must be cherry red first. They will not end up pure black but will not be bright silver afterwards, you can vary them from a slight gold to a darker brown.
Take one out of the bottom of the bike where it cannot be seen and try it.

I did purchase some M5X16 black aluminium bolts from Spedy Fasteners to install in the black plastic panels and fenders.

Obviously they're allen headed, not torx, but I don't mind. Most fairing bolts are M5X14,5 or M5X17,5 so I want to think that 1,5mm shorter or longer won't matter much. I haven't got them yet so I'll report when I install them.

Following my purchase from Speedy fasteners, I have to say that I'm disappointed.
Many bolts had small nicks on the head, I installed some and I noticed that when I tightened them, the allen key got stuck almost every time, that means that the head is distorted, the material is really soft. The highlight was that one bolt broke while screwing it (with anti seize paste), before I even tighten it!
Note that every bolt is handtighted, I'm extremely careful not to overtight aluminium bolts.
Overall, poor quality in my opinion, they were cheap though...
