    Gen 2 rear sprocket

I find it hard to find rear sprocket for Gen 2. My goal is to put 47 teeth sprocket instead of the OEM 45, for better launch , and B road rides.
Will Gen 1 sprocket fit Gen 2?

Yes...and the R and RR sprockets will also fit. 47 might be a tad hard to find but they are out there.

you could put a 16 tooth up front, I think that equates to putting a 47.5 tooth on the rear.

My preference is always to go larger with sprockets. I'm surprised there are still no alternatives for the Gen 2.

Really, I just put a 47 tooth on both my R and XR(admittedly both are GEN 1). For the GEN 2 it may depend on what wheels you have, it is the same sprocket for the GEN 3 RR.

Why do you say there are no alternatives..?? Gen-1 R, RR & XR rear sprockets will fit the standard Gen-2 wheels..Why do you not just get one of them..?? Front sprockets for Gen-1 and Gen-2 R, RR & XR are all the same too.

Every site I checked like sprocket center, does not have specific match for Gen 2 I guess i should simply buy sprocket for Gen 1.
    Thanks

As mentioned a few times already...Gen-1 or Gen-2 makes no difference....R, RR or XR...again, if they're stock wheels, it makes no difference.

Trouble is.... most of the people selling them have no idea.
