Hello and welcome from East Yorkshire. Picked up my 2018 XR Sport SE last Saturday (Sept 11) and managed to have a couple of nice blasts over the Wolds and North York Moors this week. Previous bike was a Honda Crosstourer which was a brilliant machine but just too heavy at 275kg (dry) for my ageing and arthritic back! Bought the XR to meet my needs for something light and agile..well big tick in those boxes. Its like riding a toy in comparison to the CT. Its been great fun getting to know the XR really enjoying the handling and the quickshifter. Given its sportsbike pedigree, its also a surprisingly easy bike to ride.
OEM screen is being swapped today for an MRA...I've opted for the one without the wing thing. Had a similar style on the CT and it was brilliant..hope this one is the same.
Bike doesn't suffer from excessive vibrations apart from mirrors blurring as revs rise..will try the evo bar ends which seem to get good reports on here.
Overall really delighted with the bike.
