    Non-OEM Brake Rotors for a 2021 XR?

I'm approaching 22,000 miles on my 2021 S1000XR in just under one year. I've already replaced one warped front OEM rotor not covered by warranty and now I'm being told both of my front rotors need to be replaced because they are now warped. I want to go with non-OEM, but can't find anyone who has a front rotor for this bike (diagram below). Thanks.

Have had a similar problem with my KTM GT and went Brembo Oro, they do list an option for the 20/21 bike.

Is it strange, only to me, that your rotors are written off after only 22000miles (35000kms)?

Part 34118389001 was found on the following vehicles:
    K67 (S 1000 RR)   (02/2018 — 02/2020)
    K69 (S 1000 XR)   (12/2018 — 11/2019)

so it looks like the same as the newe GEN RR rotors, hopefully that will help.

Are you sure they are warped?..Its not very easy to warp a semi floating rotor....
maybe they buttons just need to be cleaned up.

Thanks all. I have forged wheels on my 2021 XR. I've always favored a lot of front brake, but in over 50,000 miles of S1000RR miles ('12 and '17), I never had a rotor warp. In fact, I have to go back more than 500,000 miles to my K75 in 1987 for my last rotor warp problem.

BMW's parts catalog, via their "WHAT THIS FITS" tab, confirms that all 2021 use the same OEM rotor. The complete list is...

    BMW M1000RR    2021
    BMW S1000R    2021
    BMW S1000RR    2019, 2020, 2021
    BMW S1000XR    2020, 2021

Re Brembo, when I look at the SuperSport's details, I get a rotor (Product code: 208.9737.51) that does not look like it would fit.

Perhaps this is a stock pic rather than the actual rotor for a 2021 RR. Unlike with the Oros, Brembo's site doesn't have a "verify/check the actual shape" pic option listed for the SuperSport. Can someone confirm they ordered and installed Brembo Product code: 208.9737.51 on their 2021 R, RR, or XR with forged wheels?

    Thanks.

    I've just ordered a 2022 XR.....my third....with forged wheels...the M sport....in the spec....the forged wheels come with 5mm thicker rotors....not sure if that helps.

Thanks, and congrats on your on order M XR, but I think you meant 5mm "thick", not "thicker"; both my '17 RR and '21 XR have 5mm rotors. 5mm thicker, i.e., 10mm rotors, would be unusual.

    Yes....my mistake...the rotors are 5mm thick.   :430:
