Hey all, I’ve done three and a half thousand miles plus now on the Gen 2 M-sport and I’m just not finding the seat that comfy.  I was hoping it would wear in a bit but it’s just not getting any better.
After about fifty miles I’m getting aches and pains which I never got on the Gen 1.

Does anyone have any good seat alters\ maker in the Midlands\ Eat midlands that you have used?

I did call some guy up tut North that a few people on here and on the GS site had said but he did not seem interested at all it sounds like he’s winding down.
I’d rather be laying in the Sun like a cat, than working like a dog for the cash!

I recently bought a gen 2 M sport as well and I was not happy with the seat from the start but loved the bike so much I thought I could get it sorted. Well I bought a new Sargent revolution seat which is a massive improvement but it still feels like the seat needs raising at the front as I feel like I'm being pushed forward into the tank. I have ordered some new rubber bobbins with offset centre hole so hopefully it will raise front by about 10mm.

I did this also, but they wouldn't stay in place, they always spun round and had the effect of lowering the front of the seat by 10mm, which made things even worse. I found that between the two "cups" on the bike, that receive the rubber bobbins, there is a flat area, and that on the seat between the bobbin mounts there is also a flat part. With the offset bobbins correctly aligned i found a piece of hard rubber, i think it was a door stop, that fitted between the two and keeps the front of the seat up. It's been fine like that .
