    Wanted.Locking mount for a Gen 1 Xr with Nav 5 (apparently 6 is the same) .Postage within the UK.Thanks.Simon

    Thanks Deano. This is good to know. I wonder if there are any other types available?But, if not, this looks like it will be ok.

    Other option is to buy the standard BMW locking mount. I believe it is not as expensive as you would think.
    Advantages are that you could get the locked 'keyed'o the bike key.
    Disadvantage is that (I believe) there is some problem with clearance issues getting the key in/out without mounting the whole thing away from the bar. A thread on it here. https://www.s1000xr.uk/index.php/topic,5743.msg49600.html#msg49600

    I had the OEM one fitted before I picked up my Gen II bike and have to say it does exactly what is says on the packet:-) and I can lock my GPS in place for the days riding coffee/fuel/lunch stops...  If you can get it at a good price, defo have a look at it!  Peter

    Thanks for that.This one looks stronger so I will contact Motorworks.co.uk to see if they can provide one.I looked on their site yesterday but could not find one.
