    Clone Number Plate

Any idea what bike this is?  It's my number plate and I just got a parking ticket.  Not even the same model let alone colour.  I lost my plate a few weeks ago so too much of a coincidence I think.  I've sent all the evidence off so ticket should be cancelled.  It's definitely mine as I have V5, sales receipt, HPI that all match with chassis number.  I'll post on some forums when I know what bike it is.

Being parked there must be a local. Try the local BMW dealers. When he steals license plates he migh be well known for being an *sshole on other things too. Can't be that many GT's with that topcase

What a toe rag. I had similar happen to me about 4 years ago. Got a speeding ticket from Merseyside police, hadn’t been near the place. They sent me the pictures, some local scumbag tooling around on a sh#t bike with my number plate on it.

I wouldn't mind so much if it was some crappy Chinese 125 but that's quite an expensive bike !!

Yea I found  that extremely odd that someone would clone a plate on a near-as-makes-no-difference 20 grand bike... Unless that's stolen too, but you don't ride a bike like that around, you'd probably break it and part it out... Weird all around...

Looking at the photo they have left bike gear on the seat...,almost certainly he/she has checked the plate is legit and then stuck it on..blimey who needs enemies.

This is what a country of "policing" cameras does. With next to no actual cops out what are the chances of being pulled on an expensive bike? No more Ave. speeding tickets . . . . . . . . . .
Had similar with my fiesta van few years ago, (parking fine) except the offending vehicle was a shitty little Toyota car or something in London, a place my van had never been, after pointing out those facts it was dropped. Would be nice if the processing teams actually checked the details before sending out fines, how many have been paid over the years without realising????

Probably not as many as you might think, I only got a bus lane ticket once and even that I was fighting tooth and nail (as far as reasonable) even though it was clearly me. I literally nipped into the bus lane to go around a car turning right and got done for it... Ignore the fact that there were about a dozen cars parked halfway into the bus lane making it impossible for a bus to travel down it anyway...
