    Rapid Bikes evo maps

Afternoon or Hi depending where you are. I’ve got a Rapid Bike Evo and full Akro fitted to my Gen 1 2016 bike. Has anyone had any joy with custom mapping in particular below 3k revs in traffic. I’ve had a play with mine and it’s still not smooth low down in traffic.
Has anyone got a custom map they’ve had success with and would be willing to share?
Many thanks in advance Ginge 👍

I have an independent wideband O2 sensor and gauge on my 17, I have Arrow headers and I fitted the sensor is in the rear of the pipe where the 4-2-1 link pipe is. It tells me exactly what the A/F ratio is doing in real time and I can then adjust my maps to suit. The bottom end below 2k rpm at low throttle settings is still a bit lean and I'm continually fiddling with it...it appears to be altitude & temp related too. I doubt my map would help you as the 17 ECU is different to the 15 & 16.

Thanks for the reply Smithy that’s something for me to think about. I don’t want to give up on it yet but close to removing and getting the ecu remapped.

Had a PC fitted for some years with Akra headers etc, mapped on a dyno it’s sublime, it’ll pull in 6th from 25mph without the slightest glitch.

You can certainly fiddle with the bottom end fueling map to see if it helps. Just don't make wholesale changes....just do little adjustments and test....I found this the best way to sort any minor fueling issues.

As Winger mentions, when it's set-up nicely, the Gen-1 will pull strongly and cleanly in 6th from as little a 2k rpm.

You can always find a tuner that works with the RB unit and have them put it on a dyno. I had a RB on a previous Ducati Monster and it worked ok and then I bout the Tuneboy ECU software for my Multistrada. I was able to adjust the A/F and create 3 different maps but couldn't get it right. I guess I found the limits of my ability! As Smithy suggests, do small changes and test. It's easy to lose track

Thanks for the replies everyone looks like I’m going to have a play with it when I get time or get it on a Dyno 👍
