    Hello Everybody,

I just registrated here. I tried to find the exact topic, but I can not find it.

I am thinking on to buy a 2017 S1000 XR. It has 17000 km. I am wondering about the type issues, whats good the check before I would buy it? Currenty I have a 2011 CBF-1000, but this bike is fully different.

Sorry for the new topic, and THANK YOU very much for the tips/helps :821: :821:.

    Kind regards,
    Mark

Hi Mark, welcome to the forum.

I do not think there is any special thing to check for the S1000XR. Just look at it like any other used bike. Check for a service history. At 17,000km or just over 10,000 miles it might have had or need a new chain. Otherwise check the appearance matches the km, check the frame and engine numbers match the documents and if it is available in your country, check the insurance claim and finance history. In the UK we can run a database check to see if a bike has been in a serious accident or if the owner has finance owing on the bike.

Okay, thank you, I will do like this.
Does it have a warranty call back for this type? I see in the forum some fuel leak issues too.
