    Nav 6 Ghosting Issues Resolved.

Thought I’d share that BMW are being super generous if you are experiencing faults with the Nav 6, mainly ghosting inputs. This appears as if someone is remotely randomly altering the mode settings as you’re riding.

My unit was bought new 3 and a half years ago and my dealer has secured a brand new replacement which has of course the latest updates and new program features.

So if yours starts playing up the BMW mothership will come to the rescue, super service me thinks.
    Cheers,
    Charlie Spiceboy.

Had similar with mine after 3 years, I contacted Garmin directly and the unit was replaced with no quibbles at all.

Just had my replacement unit replaced, again with no quibbles from Garmin. It was an entirely painless process and was without a GPS for only 5 days. I have to give 10/10 to Garmin customer service.

Mine was replaced then it happened again. Turns out that rain / dirt on the screen caused it to ghost. Now relegated to a drawer and use my iPhone X in a cheap adaptor with the connected app.

Happy as Larry and no more ghosting. Complete waste of £600.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the nav 6 so have gone with a zumo xt with 3DAM conversion kit.
    Take it easy,
    Neil
