Anyone fitted the Wunderlich Bar risers to their bike? I am looking at the 20mm ones and want to know if any of the cables need modifying.
    Cheers

Gen-1 or Gen-2..?? Assuming Gen-1 since you have "SE" in your signature.

If just 20mm you should be fine...any more and the clutch cable and front brake line will be at their limit on full lock. I have 25mm up and 20mm back and had to do some creative re-routing of the clutch cable, there's a "P" clip on the steering head which can be undone which helps. With the brake line, you can get various extensions and fittings to suit.

How about Gen 2 ? Is it necessary to re-route/extend the cables with 20mm risers ?

I have their bar riser on order and I’ll try to update once I get it installed.

It looks like the the clutch cable might be close with how it’s routed, but I might be able to get a little slack out of it

My bmw dealer said okay to fix these to gen 2. There are no problems with clutch cable , however after 1000 miles I noticed that the cruise and indicators stopped working , dealer checked it and aid the electrical cable to the left controls was tight and causing the wires to pull out. They corrected this ( somehow) but now after another 1000 miles the problem is back and happens about every 20 minutes. If it happens whilst riding I stop and wiggle the electrical wire about where it meets the handlebar clamp and the switches start to work for a short time and then stop. Dealer will sort out f.o.c as I asked them prior to fitting the risers. I think it will need a new connection switch as the wires have probably pulled out to the point where they can’t be soldered back.

On a plus side, the bars make a big improvement for me so will be keeping them if bmw can sort a fix
