Bonamici, didn’t list a XR TFT protector on their website
The one for the RR will fit, I was concerned that the plastic ears next to the TFT would hit but they don’t

:005: at uk pds 185 that's not cheap. I personally don't like the nuts and bolts layout, for me that is touratech GSA style. And one can't fit the wunderlich sunscreen anymore (I've had the ali version which amazingly has wunderlich printed on it. But most importantly I think you might get condensation between the two. Doesn't look like an air thight seal at all. Then I way prefer to let the dealer install the M-one at their risk (I'm about to pick up my new one)
Edit sorry for boldface, tried changing twice but it stays for some reason

Edit 2: Thanks for the close up pictures. I never realised the windscreen assy was mounted on metal clips thingy's  Had the assy off a few times.  I'll play around with taping washers to the lower clips to put my WRS screen more flat. Then also washers under the bottom mounts of the screen. I'm one of the few who wants most air flow and helmet in clean air, but's that me.

I paid $145us but that was last January, the bike was delivered in June and I finally got it on.

There is a foam seal around the inside of the case and the plastic screen is sandwiched between the frame and the case so I do not think there will be a lot of condensation. Case and frame are made out of aluminum.

The main purpose of the unit is to protect the TFT in case of a crash, I was going to use the XR as back up track bike (as well as a sport tourer)  to my RR and thought it would be a good idea to protect the dash.

I wasn’t sure how much heat the TFT generates and I was concerned the enclosing it in a aluminum case would be an issue but the back is open and the TFT vent is not covered.

The protector was made for the RR and I only posted this to show that it will fit the XR and not that it was better than any other unit. Quite honestly the dealer bought one for his RR, he ordered two and I took the second one as an impulse buy not checking what else was out there.
