    I.O.M. TT on the XR

Just got back last night from the TT, insane was the word of the week, respect the riders.
Saw either a lot of red XR'S or the same one loads, I prefer to suggest a middle ground of about 4 plus mine. Saw a new Grey/white which didn't float my boat, no white ones or they just blended in ?  :164:
The bike behaved perfect, ran with the sports bikes until the mountain section however i'd say some were prepaired to ride faster than I was, some fools out which spoilt the lines. Think I'm pretty certain the front left fork seal has gone, be on to BM Monday about that, oil down and on the disc which isn't pleasing, miles are at 1060.
    If you've never been..go, if you've been this year..wasn't it great !!

Glad you had a good time, and what a great picture. I'm sure you gave up before you could have, as the XR will hold its own with most sportsbikes.

I'm taking the XR over in July, once the knobbers have gone!

They don't quite cut the mustard against a full on litre sports bike but the gap isn't big and unless the rice rockets  have a good pilot  on them the XR is pretty much on the pace with them.

    My experience any way
You tell me how fast I was going Officer !

Too true, passed more sports bikes than passed me, I'm of the opinion those that flew past had been round and around to get the roads in their head, hence the cutting you up to keep the lines for speed, fookin cock wombles.
