    Hello all,

I've been riding a motorcycle for over 30 years, ride to work on a ST1300 and always had a bike next to it to play. After a lot of sport bikes I bought a vfr1200f to get a more comfortable bike size (over 2m). Unfortunately I really got tired of it because of the handling, mainly caused by the bad suspension. I went looking for a superduke GT, Multistratda or XR and just before the summer decided it was going to be an XR. To be honest, it wasn't love at first sight, but I thought it was the wise choice. After riding in the Pyrenees and the Vosges, the love has grown and I can't wait for spring to start!.
I do all the maintenance on my motorcycles myself and I have already purchased motoscan and the maintenance CD. Soon I'll be giving my xr its first service, and you never know if you'll need help, hence my registration. And who knows, I might be able to help someone else with something.

    Welcome!

I have a 2019 Gen 1 and it was not love at first sight either.  I test rode an early model in 2015 and didn't like it all.  In 2019 I test rode a used one with about 10,000 miles on it and I loved it  --> these bikes get better with miles.  Mine now has 13,000 miles and it is GREAT.  So you have more to look forward to.
