Any of you guys got mates with the latest GS, tucked away waiting for the weather to break here in the UK, suggest to them they start looking for OE Miche rear tyres, cuz the current supply situation is of the like I have never known  :005: Covid/Brexit ? No idea.

Will mention it to a mate who will start racking up more commuting miles.

Not a huge hardship if you had to fit an Angel-Conti-Metz though (unless only looking for a rear, of course).

I've lost track of what XR tyres are hiding in the garage - must go and have a rake around.   Should have enough life on my Roadtec-01 to last until summer holidays - and have a pair of Conti RA 3 to go on.

    First time trying them.

    I tried them all.

Pirellis were sh#t, ok grip in wet and dry but bad handling characteristics and they wore badly, (Angel GT 1s and 2s)

Conti RA3 is good, closest to the Road 5 but just barely not there. Very good wear pattern, average life (got 6.5k-7k out of mine)

I managed to snag a pair of Road 5s about 2 weeks ago for the most recent set of tyres and I have to say, bloody good to be back on them. They really are just the best tyre out there period. Shame they cost 280 for the set + fitting  :005:
