XR on Tour - Normandy June 2016

Here is my video of the Wounded Warriors Normandy Tour by Bike Tours for the Wounded. Awesome fun. If you ride a bike, have some spare time and some spare funds, give them a call. They do tours in France and in the States, and the satisfaction of seeing a Wounded, Injured or Sick ex-Serviceman (or woman) getting off a bike with a massive grin is infectious.

Wow....thats pretty impressive !!
My company will make a huge donation if I can have those rear sets off you...hows that for a dilemna!!!
On a more serious note...am checking with Accounts to see if we can do something meaningful....this looks well worth supporting.

That is awesome Binky, I'm chuffed you are thinking about it. I'd be willing to give up 10 days of leave next year to support one of the Route 66 rides if your company could provide some corporate sponsorship - and it they are feeling really generous they could sponsor both of us ??!! The Normandy tour was excellent, and brilliant for the WIS (Wounded, Injured or Sick) ex servicemen, however I've heard the US tours are that much better (due to involvement of US organisations such as the police and legion type people). My problem is I cant afford to go at the moment !

Skirted round the rear sets I notice Mr Bagwafu!!:008:
I should know more next week. I have left a tel message for BT4TW and hopefully they will call back to give me all the info I need to proceed further with this. Would seriously love to come but cant see my wife going for it as she hates anything to do with motorbikes but you never know may be able to wangle a hall pass. What are the dates for Route 66?

Yup re rearsets ! Got a bargain there.
Ref Route 66 dates - this year they are May 18th to May 28th and August 24th to September 3rd. Next years dates haven't been promulgated but will be similar. They also do a wild west tour for the charity which are May 28th to June 7th and September 3rd to September 13th this year and similar next year I guess.
