    Dear All

    does a list explaining what could be behind the various error messages the bike can display. I am particularly interested in the solid yellow Alert Sign with ENGINE! on the dash.

    i have had this come on on a couple of occasions...it goes on its own, and I think it is related to startup, or at least when the bike is cold....riding the bike actually clears it...

    grateful for any help you could offer

    It's all in the owner's manual but here you go:






    More than likely though it's just something to do with exhaust stuff and not actual limp mode problems, if you have motoscan or GS 911, have a look
