Recently having an intermittent issue when approaching a stop, the engine will die, happens 4 or 5 times in a 4 hour ride. No fault codes are recorded, has anyone any suggestions ?

I seem to recall a thread on here about this same issue probably ~6-12months back. I’ve not got time to find it right now, but have a search about.

I would start by checking if the clutch fully disengages

If it's a gen 2 it's a common issue, go to your dealer for a software update quoting this issue and they'll fix you right up... probably...

For a few tanks, always put super unleaded in except where there is none

and when was the last time it had a full service? It's 5 or 6 years old so the list of potential problems is long.

have you checked the air intake? Spiders, rodents, birds & bats can take up residence restricting air flow.

clogged air filter? Clogged fuel filter?

    dodgy HT leads?

    any modifications?

A service and taking it back to stock would be the obvious start.

Could be a bazillion things really, First and easiest check, since you seem to be able to read error codes, is do an adaptation reset on the throttle grip and throttle valves. Your fastest and cheapest check to eliminate
